1. How do I submit diamonds to the AGS Laboratories?
You need to be a client of AGS Laboratories to have diamonds graded or receive a replacement document. You can become a client of the laboratory by filling out the forms on our Become A New Client page or by calling Client Service at 702.233.6120. 2. What if a diamond needs to be rushed?
If you need a diamond grading report or diamond lab services in a hurry contact the AGS Laboratories Client Service Department at (702) 233-6120 Ext: 2 or send email to support@agslab.com.
3. How do I ship diamonds to the AGS Laboratories?
You have the choice of using any shipping company with whom you have trust and experience.. Based on our experience and in depth studies of reliability and results, we encourage our customers to use Brinks, Federal Express or USPS Registered Mail. 5. What should I place on the address label?
The address label should contain the complete shipping address of the AGS Laboratories. Do not address your diamonds to any particular individual; once received by our security team, all packages are directed to our receiving department for processing.
6. What documentation do you need to process my diamonds?
In order to properly process your diamonds, our receiving department requires a packing list on your company's letterhead detailing the number of stones, individual weight and value (for insurance purposes). Please make sure that a contact name and phone number is provided so we may contact you if there are any additional questions or concerns. For your convenience AGS Laboratories has created a packing slip for you, which you can download here.
7. How should I package the diamonds?
All diamonds sent to AGS Laboratories should be packaged carefully and securely to avoid any unnecessary damage to the diamonds. Diamonds should be packaged in individual stone papers. Please avoid sending more than one diamond in the same stone paper. Also, avoid using plastic bags and any other packing materials other than the usual stone paper.
8. Do you use pick up window services?
Yes, if goods are returned back to you using Brinks or Federal Express.
