RETURNING SHIPMENTS

 

1. How are diamonds shipped back to customers?

Our customers based in the United States have the choice of one of our preferred shipping companies, Brinks, Federal Express or USPS registered mail service. All international shipments will be shipped via Brinks.

 

2. Explain how diamonds are insured within your company.

All diamonds are insured while in our diamond lab by our insurance company. We will also insure any shipment going back to our customer if so instructed. However, the insurance cost will be added to the cost of processing the diamonds.

 

3. What armored firms do you use?

The only armored firm we use is Brinks. Top

 

4. Why do you not use UPS to ship goods back to me?

Based on our experience with Brinks, FedEX, and the USPS, we recommend them. We will ship with UPS upon instruction by our client, but only using the client's account and insurance.

 

5. Can you ship goods internationally using Federal Express?

Yes, we use Fed-Ex to Canada only.

 

6. Are there any value limitations on international shipments?

There are no limitations on the value of the diamonds for international shipments using Brinks. There is a limit for Fed-Ex shipments to Canada.

 

7. Are there any shipping day constraints (i.e. can not ship internationally on Friday)?

No. Brinks has flights leaving from Las Vegas Monday through Friday. Top

 

8. Do you have shipping day constraints with Federal Express?

Federal Express shipments are sent from the Laboratory every day unless there is an observed holiday.

 

9. How are diamonds shipped via USPS within the US?

When using the USPS service, AGS Laboratories will ship all goods Registered Mail.

 

10. Can you ship my diamonds internationally via USPS?

AGS Laboratories do not use the USPS services to ship goods outside of the United States.

 

11. Do you use SOA, Malca-Amit or Dunbar?

AGS Laboratories do not use the USPS services to ship goods outside of the United States.

 

12. What interaction do you have with various customs agencies?

AGS Laboratories has no interaction unless we are contacted by the custom agencies for additional information.

 

13. What paperwork is needed for international shipments?

A commercial invoice is required and should be provided by the customer for each international shipment. AGS Laboratories cannot prepare such a document.

 

14. If Brinks is handling my diamonds from the shipping point to the airport, who is contracted to

       fly the diamonds to the destination? Do I have to make arrangements for Brinks pick up at

       the destination airport?

Once picked up from our location, Brinks is handling all shipments door to door. No additional paperwork or action is required and all domestic packages are delivered the next business day.
