Dallahan to Join AGS Laboratories

June 8, 2007. Las Vegas, NV. Clayton Bromberg, chairman of American Gem Society (AGS) Laboratories’ Board of Managers, announced today that Frank Dallahan will become the president and CEO of the AGS Laboratories effective July 15, 2007.

“This is a new position created to bring AGS Laboratories to the next level," Bromberg said. "Frank’s varied experience and his reputation made him an ideal candidate for this position. The AGS Laboratories has experienced dramatic growth over the past few years, and the Lab board believes there is a significant growth opportunity ahead. Frank’s leadership skills and industry contacts will play an important role in achieving this growth scenario."

Dallahan had previously served as president and CEO of Manufacturing Jewelers & Suppliers of America (MJSA), a position he held since October 2005. “MJSA has been a challenging and rewarding experience for me," Dallahan said. "My wife and I have made many friends there, and from a personal perspective we will miss Rhode Island. But the AGS Laboratories offers a wonderful opportunity for growth, and I am looking forward to the challenge.”

Alan Bell, chairman of MJSA, said, "We at MJSA would like to thank Frank for his significant contributions to the association. His long experience within the industry and his leadership in reshaping and unifying our brand has helped improve MJSA’s position as the voice of jewelry manufacturers in this country.” Bell added that the board of MJSA would begin the process of finding a replacement immediately.
