AGS LABS TAPS MALCA FOR NYC CONSOLIDATION POINT

June 1, 2007. Las Vegas, NV. AGS Laboratories has entered into an agreement with Malca-Amit to serve as the Lab’s New York Consolidation Window in the Diamond District. Malca-Amit will be providing priority shipping services and real-time tracking information to clients wishing to ship their diamonds for grading to AGS Laboratories.

Beginning June 6 and running through the end of August, AGS Laboratories will run a special promotion, free shipping, for Diamond District businesses wishing to become first time clients of the Laboratory. After the introductory period, first time clients can take advantage of attractive shipping rates offering considerable savings.

Clients wishing to take advantage of the Malca-Amit Consolidation Window Services for AGS Laboratories may drop diamonds off at the Malca-Amit office located in the lobby of 580 5th Avenue on the corner of 47th Street, Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pm. Malca-Amit will ship to Las Vegas on Tuesdays and Thursdays and the AGS Laboratories will send out their shipments each Wednesday and Friday.

Clients using the consolidation service will receive the Lab’s standard turnaround time of five business days for diamond grading results.

The AGS Laboratories, established in 1996, is committed to protecting the consumer by providing unbiased grading reports based on the highest standards of diamond grading. AGS Laboratories is the only diamond grading laboratory licensed to use the AGS Performance-Based Cut Grade System — the first-ever cut grading system for a fancy shaped diamond. The Lab currently issues a cut grade on round brilliant, princess, and emerald cut diamonds. Other shapes are due to come on line in the near future.
