The AGS Laboratories announced today that it has entered into an agreement with the Dubai Diamond Exchange to operate a take-in window in that region. The new take-in window will start providing services January 15, 2005.

"We're very excited to begin operations in Dubai," said Peter Yantzer, executive director of AGS Laboratories. "This region is an important consideration in our strategic focus. We realized that as our reputation and brand grew, there was demand for our services in Dubai. The relationship with the exchange makes perfect sense."

The Dubai Metals and Commodities Centre (DMCC), a strategic government initiative, is establishing Dubai as a diamond trading and value-adding centre of global significance alongside leading international diamond centres. Through the creation of market -specific infrastructure, such as the World Federation of Diamond Bourses (WFDB) affiliated Dubai Diamond Exchange (DDE), DMCC's industry initiatives provide a major impetus to the diamond industry in the region.
